Biography	Lady Collins is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kennesaw State University Wellstar School of Nursing. She is dedicated to mentoring students and achieving academic success. Lady previously served two nursing organizations as Vice President of the Kennesaw State University SNA and Breakthrough to Nursing Director (BTN) of the Georgia Association of Nursing Students (GANS). Lady's goal is to promote nursing and help others in the community. She has become more aware of the great role nurses play in society as teachers. Lady feels that she is qualified to lead scouts as evidenced by her previous leadership roles. She has gained great insight on the various avenues of nursing by working and volunteering in healthcare settings. Lady is eager and enthusiastic to share her experiences, her passion, and her goals. Additionally, Lady is BCLS/CPR certified, bi-lingual in Spanish and English, and Youth Protection Certified. Lady is also a member of the Emergency Nurses Association and the Governor's Office of Children and Families to advocate for the CSEC.

Prerequisites for this Activity	READ FIRST AID MERIT BADGE BOOK. Complete worksheet and bring home first aid kit. Come prepared and on time. The boys will need to complete the first aid worksheet prior to class. Link to the first aid worksheet: http://www.usscouts.org/mb/worksheets/First-Aid.pdf The boys simply have to fill out the work sheet with brief statements displaying their knowledge of the information gathered from their merit badge book. The remaining requirements (ie demonstration of skills) will be satisfied during the MBU class. However, knowledge of the entire booklet is strongly advised and recommended since we will be covering a lot of material. Bring First Aid Kit, your counselor will check off the first aid kit during the clinic as a reinforcement to satisfy completion of the first aid badge.
